Compliance Requirements
Before you can export from Fiji you must be a registered business with a TIN, register as an exporter with FRCS, and meet the destination market's product rules.
Overview
Every Fijian exporter, from a kava co-operative to a bottled-water plant, starts by being a properly registered business. You need a business or company registration, a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) from the Fiji Revenue & Customs Service, and registration on the FRCS Asycuda World system so you can lodge export declarations. On top of Fiji-side registration, compliance means meeting the rules of the country you are selling into: an importing country may demand a certificate of origin, a phytosanitary or health certificate, or specific labelling. The Fiji Trade Information Portal is the single place where the requirement for each product and market is spelled out, so check it before you commit to an order. Getting compliance right up front avoids goods being held at the border or rejected on arrival.
