Trade Promotion Agencies

Investment Fiji is the lead export-promotion agency, supported by the Ministry of Trade's MSME unit and overseas Fiji trade commissions.

Overview

Fijian MSMEs do not have to find export markets alone. Investment Fiji is the national trade and investment promotion agency, mandated to grow Fijian exports, and it runs market intelligence, buyer matchmaking, trade-fair participation and the Export From Fiji platform, along with the Fiji Trade Map to help you understand demand. The Ministry of Trade, Co-operatives, SMEs and Communications supports smaller businesses through its MSME Fiji unit and a Trade Enhancement Programme that can help with export readiness and grants. Overseas, Fiji maintains trade commissions (for example in North America) that promote Fijian products and connect exporters with distributors. These bodies are free or low-cost first ports of call: use them to validate a market, find buyers, and understand the incentives and support available before you spend heavily on a new market.
